Meeting with members of the Business Council for International Understanding(BCIU)

Amb.Lazarus O.Amayo held a virtual roundtable meeting with members of the Business Council for International Understanding(BCIU) led by their President and CEO, Mr. Peter Tichansky.

The meeting shared the progress made on Kenya-US economic relations and discussed how to move on a trajectory that enables achievement of mutually beneficial goals especially with the ongoing FTA negotiations.

The Ambassador emphasized the need of building on the existing AGOA market access opportunities and increasing investment flows into Kenya. He reiterated  that Kenya has an attractive business environment which BCIU and other US investors can channel their capital. US companies venturing into Kenya will place themselves at pole position for the Africa-wide market which is 1.2 billion people.
