The Embassy of Kenya in Washington D.C. invites applications from suitable candidates for the above position. The position will be based at the Kenya Consulate in New York City. The Incumbent will be expected to undertake the following tasks:

i. Data Entry and Management
ii. Make appointments and referrals
iii. Make travel arrangements and hotel bookings
iv. Record keeping and sorting
v. Maintaining an efficient filing system
vi. Handling incoming and outgoing mails, emails and telephone calls
vii. Undertake protocol duties
viii. Any other related duties as may be assigned by the Head of Mission or authorized officer.

Education qualifications and skills
i. Minimum possession of a High School Diploma from a recognized institution
ii. Demonstrate good customer service skills.
iii. Possess good communication skills.
iv. Excellent reading comprehension.
v. Display organization skills.
vi. Possess excellent time management skills.
vii. Familiarity with essential modern office equipment.
viii. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook
ix. Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
x. Team player
xi. Committed to continuous learning

Kindly Note:

i. All applicants should have valid documentation allowing them to work in the United States of America (USA) for a minimum of two (2) years).
ii. Previous experience in a similar post will be an added advantage. At least two referees should be listed in the CV.
