Job Vacancy – Kenya Consulate NY : Clerk
The Embassy of Kenya in Washington D.C. invites applications from suitable candidates who are based in USA for the position above. The position will be based at the Kenya Consulate in New York City. The Incumbent will be expected to undertake the following tasks:
- Data Entry and Management
- Make appointments and referrals
- Make travel arrangements and hotel bookings
- Record keeping and sorting
- Maintaining an efficient filing system
- Handling incoming and outgoing mails, emails and telephone calls
- Undertake protocol duties
- Any other related duties as may be assigned by the Head of Mission or authorized officer.
Education qualifications and skills
- Minimum possession of a High School Diploma from a recognized institution
- Demonstrate good customer service skills.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Excellent reading comprehension.
- Display organization skills.
- Possess excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity with essential modern office equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Team player
- Committed to continuous learning
