World AIDS day organized by BCIU

Amb. Lazarus Amayo was among key speakers at the World AIDS day organized by BCIU. Kenya, he said had made progress in reducing deaths attributed to HIV/AIDS by 67% in the last decade & the prevalence rate reduced to 4.9%.

He lauded the support of the USA government and other development partners in supporting issues of health in Kenya. USA, he noted remains the largest bilateral partner in the area of health.
