University of Washington leadership

Amb. Lazarus Amayo met and held discussions with University of Washington leadership led by Prof. Ana Marie Cauce its President on ways which the University and Kenya’s universities and research institutions could deepen the existing relations.

Prof. Cauce cherished existing and mutually beneficial relations with Kenyatta University, UoN, JKUAT, Maseno University, Kenyatta National Hospital, MoH and KEMRI, and express desire for enhancing it.

Amb. Amayo underscored cordial and multifaceted existing relations between Kenya and US and called for further collaboration in Education and Research. He assured Prof. Cauce of Embassy’s support in facilitating building of linkages with Kenyan universities and research firms

The meeting was attended by Dr. Jeffrey Riedinger, Vice Provost for Global Affairs, Prof. Carey Farquhar, Vice Dean for Education, School of Public Health, and Dr. Festus Gumbo.
