EAC Ambassadors

Amb. Amayo met with EAC Ambassadors based in Washington DC who included H.E. Mull Katende of Uganda, H.E. Dr. Jean de Dieu Ndikumana of Burundi, H.E. Phillip Natana of South Sudan, Ms. Jean Msabila, the CDA of Tanzania & Mr. Lawrence Manzi of Rwanda.

They discussed issues of mutual interest which included maximization of AGOA in the remaining years & regional input in its mid-term review, exchange of information & enhancing US-EAC trade & investment ties. They also welcomed H.E. Dr. Ndikumana to DC.

They discussed the need to have experts and think tanks engage with the EAC Ambassadors regularly on issues affecting the region.
