13th Conference of the Kenya Scholars and Students Association

Amb. Lazarus Amayo presided over official opening of the 13th Conference of the Kenya Scholars and Students Association led by its President Prof. Jerono Rotich. Amb. Simon Nabukwesi, PS University Education and Research, MoE gave the keynote address.

The annual event which took place from 10-11 Sep. 2021 was also attended by Prof. Geoffrey Muluvi- VC South-Eastern University, Mr. Charles Ringera, CEO HELB, and Dr. Agnes Wahome, CEO KUCCPS and about 100 Kenya Scholars from various universities in the US.

The Scholars presented academic papers and discussed ways in which the Embassy, the Government and the Diaspora could cooperate in promoting education in the country amongst other things.
